The Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) had released the official merit list for the 56th batch of the OFB Trade Apprentice posts for both ITI and Non-ITI categories. The notification for these posts first appeared on 31st December 2019 and it said that there are a total of 6066 vacancies for which more than one lakh students had applied. OFB Trade Apprentice posts Cut-Off / Criteria

1. For the Non-ITI category, the OFB Apprentice Merit List 2020 will be prepared by considering the marks obtained in the Xth standard. Later, trades will be allotted by each factory.
2. For the Ex-ITI category, the 56th Batch ITI Apprentice Merit List is compiled factory-wise and trade-wise by averaging the marks obtained in Xth Standard and ITI.

If any two candidates secure the same overall marks, the candidate with older age will be picked. If age is also the same between two candidates, the candidate who took the Xth standard exam first will be selected. Even if the year of passing is the same, the candidate whose name appears first in alphabetical order will be chosen.
